What is the mind? The absurdity of being me and I being you. This is a story of a mad mind creating absurd world and extraordinary characters. All in the hopes of putting to rest his biggest "What if?". A story set within a requiem. A consciousness run free for the first time.
The Gentleman's hourglass was an experimental play performed by Runaway Cabaret at two venues in Rangashankara and Alliance Française de in Bangalore. My role involved designing the costume and makeup for these absurd and extraordinary characters.
The actor's starred in multiple roles throughout the play and figuring out an undertone for the makeup to accommodate the change of character was a real challenge. The above pictures that I have clicked are from the make-up run-through.
